ABOUT US
Molly Huff, CYT, RYTAs a lifelong athlete, Molly has a strong background in the mechanics of the body. Her almost 12 years of yoga practice, yoga study and teaching have given her an intimate knowledge of the inner workings of the body. In order to help a student reap all the benefits of a given pose, a teacher needs to have this level of knowledge and ability. Molly’s yoga teaching brings a variety of experiences to enhance the needs of each student. She received her teaching certification through Esther Meyers Yoga Studio in Toronto where she continues to study and is registered with the Yoga Alliance (RYT).
Harriette Ginsberg, CYT
Harriette has been practicing hatha yoga for over 20 years and brings a strong background of teaching from over 25 years of experience with high school students. Harriette completed the Essential Teacher Training program with Francoise Raoult and is now certified and is a registered yoga teacher. She continues her studies by attending yoga workshops in the Esther Myers tradition as taught by Monica Voss. Harriette also attended a workshop for teaching adaptive yoga for MS patients, which adds to her knowledge of alternative ways of making yoga accessible to those with limited flexibility
Debbie Fenton, LMT,CYT,RYT
Debbie Fenton is a registered yoga teacher and a 2006 graduate of Francois Raoult's ETT (Essential Teacher Training) program at Open Sky in Rochester, NY. Debbie has been a licensed massage therapist since 1998 and is co-owner of CanalSide Therapeutic Massage (with Kim Ross) in Pittsford, NY. In 2004, she completed an eight-week MBSR (Meditation Based Stress Reduction) course with Dr. Michael Krasner, which focuses on the work of Jon Kabat-Zinn to use meditation as a tool to reduce stress and pain. Previously, Debbie was a certified aerobics instructor, teaching classes at Kodak, many local clubs and various YMCA facilities (1989-1997). Debbie combines all these learning's and experiences to provide an introspective, nurturing, challenging and safe yoga class that is most beneficial to the beginning to intermediate yoga student.
Cheryl Prockton, MEd, CYT, RYT
Holding degrees in nutrition and education, Cheryl has been working in the field of health education since 1999. Always fascinated with the connection of mind, body, and spirit, Cheryl was drawn to yoga and meditation early in her career. She eventually completed her yoga teacher certification at Kripalu Center in Western Massachusetts and became a registered yoga teacher. She is also trained as a Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapist and Reiki II practitioner, and offers private sessions of both healing modalities. Cheryl believes that yoga offers the opportunity to discover your inner beauty and wisdom, and to heal yourself and your life on many levels. She may be contacted at www.essential-nature.com
Marla Devi Pelletier, CYT, RYT
Marla wants every one of her students to know that their health is in their own hands. She is a registered Hatha teacher with Yoga Alliance and is grateful to have worked and trained with Bharath Shetty of Yoga India in Mysore, India. Following that, she studied at the Sivananda Institute in Neyyar Dam, Kerala, India. Always a student and a teacher, Marla works with her students to bring them what they need. Marla is also a writer, energy healer, and constant traveler immersing herself in the cultures she visits.
Mary Adams
Mary is currently working on her yoga certification specializing in kids yoga. She discovered yoga with her newborn daughter at a "Mommy and Me" class 5 years ago taught by Molly. She then began taking yoga classes with Molly and since that time has developed a passion for yoga. She travels with Molly to yoga retreats taught by Monica Voss from Esther Myer's Yoga in Toronto Canada. Mary is currently teaching the kids yoga class, her son and daughter participate also in the kids class, allowing for them to develop their yoga passion.
Kim Bade
Bringing Reflexology, Tai Chi and Qi Gong to Molly's Yoga Corner, Kim hopes to help others to find peace in the moment and balance between mind and body. She is a certified Reflexologist and currently continuing her studies at the Qi Gong Institute of Rochester with founder Lisa O'Shea. Barb Klein
Barb is a certified Reiki Master Teacher, trained in the Usui tradition and offers individual sessions at Molly's Yoga Corner. She invites you to come and experience Reiki for yourself, for it is a deeply individual experience which can affect people on many different levels; physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual. Reiki is an ancient Japanese healing art and will help your mind and body connect with their innate ability to heal. Barb offers the use of therapeutic grade essential oils and/or crystals in her sessions, depending on a client's needs and wishes.
